The journey is straight forward, with a short stop for coffee.( Excuse to check that I had packed the bike jackets, more like. I had, so that's ok, I can settle back and enjoy the coffee). The van has just had an MOT and service, (£99). So is driving really well.
We are soon on our way again and make good progress, arriving at the site just after 12.00am. I began to put the awning up while Lesley went to fill the water tank.
It didn’t take long to have every thing in place. Since there was no wind, I did not have to wrestle with the flapping awning. Lesley returned and we are soon sat down having some lunch.

The High Street now beckoned, its a mile and bit walk down a busy road to the shops. A more picturesque route through the adjacent park has been put out of bounds, mores the pity.
After a look around the shops, we head back up the hill soon to reach the campsite, just as it is getting dark..
